Our Story
If you have ever searched “find a hairstylist near me” or asked for referrals in a Facebook group, you know the frustration. You end up with twenty different names and no clear way to know who is the right fit. For stylists, it is just as overwhelming. They rely on luck, inconsistent referrals, and endless posting to stay visible.
My Stylist Match changes that. With our quiz and stylist profile system, clients discover professionals who align with their personality, style, and budget. Stylists finally get matched with clients who value their work, making every connection intentional instead of random.
Our Founder
I am Cheri, a stylist, educator, and single mom who started over in Ohio in 2011. At the time I worked multiple jobs, while building my salon business from scratch. Referrals in local Facebook groups helped me grow, but the process was stressful and unreliable. Clients often felt lost, and stylists often felt unseen.
That experience inspired me to create My Stylist Match. I wanted to design a platform that would allow clients to confidently find a hairstylist they could trust, and help stylists grow thriving businesses with clients who align with them. MSM is more than a directory. It is a community built on trust, resilience, and the belief that everyone deserves the right fit.
